At Easter almost all closed
The Esselunga chain will be closed on Easter day, while it will be open on Monday 9 April on holidays. Pam, on the other hand, will only keep one shop open: the one in Lignano all day, from 9 to 19. Almost all the Coop sales outlets will also be closed at Easter, with the exception of the supermarkets in Liguria and Fiorfood, the gourmet store in Nova Coop in Turin. In the case of Conad-branded supermarkets, openings on holidays are decided by the individual points of sale. Even the chains of the VG group, Tosano and Dec, will be closed at Easter. In the case of Bennet, however, only 20% of the stores will remain open, i.e. those located in the most touristic locations. As far as Carrefour is concerned, the different points of sale will manage the holidays differently, for this reason the advice is to contact the point of sale directly to check the Easter and Easter Monday opening hours.
Easter Monday openings
As for Monday 9 April, Easter Monday, it will be easier to find an open supermarket. Esselunga will guarantee the opening of all points of sale. The Pam supermarkets will open from 8 to 9 in the morning, with the exception of the one in Campi Bisenzio which will also remain closed on Easter Monday. Some stores will only be open in the morning until 1pm, while others will be open all day. In the case of Coop supermarkets, the openings or closures depend on the territories. In Lombardy, for example, all will be open except for five shops which will remain closed and the smaller supermarkets which will do half a day. In Liguria hypermarkets will be open and supermarkets will be closed. The Unicoop Tirreno stores will all be closed except for two hypermarkets and two mini temporary stores open in holiday villages. Those of Coop Alleanza 3.0 will all be closed except one. The stores of Coop Centro Italia and Unicoop Firenze are also closed. The Amiata stores will be open only in the morning. The Tosano supermarkets on Easter Monday will be open all day and also those of the Bennet chain. While the Dec stores will only be open for half a day.
