Vittorio Feltri offends Michela Murgia on social media: “I don’t like her because she’s as ugly as the ogre”

The 2023 social of Vittorio Feltri begins with an offensive tweet towards the writer Michelle Murgia. “NoI like her not for what she says or writes but because she’s as ugly as the ogre,” she writes the founder of Libero on Twitter, who a few weeks ago announced his intention to run for a position as regional councilor in Lombardy.

But it’s not the first time this has happened. Feltri has already attacked and offended Murgia on social media several times. He had also done so in early December, with another tweet in which he attacked the writer and defended the premier. “Meloni was first in her class at school, and now we see the deserved results. And do you know why the Murgia is so bad? Because she is as ugly as a witch”.

Controversy erupted on social networks for both tweets. “But how dare you”, “And even on the first day of 2023 you wrote something offensive towards a woman. Congratulations, the important thing is to never contradict yourself”, write the users. And also in other episodes in past years, Feltri lashed out at the Sardinian writer, offending her. Now the new post to start 2023.

Feltri, founder and director of Libero, announced on Twitter his willingness to run to Lombardy for a position as councilor. “Finally healed, enough trouble, I intend to run for the regional ones in Lombardy in the lists of Brothers of Italy in homage to Giorgia Meloni whom I respect very much”, he wrote last December 14th. And it is not the first time in politics for Feltri. In October 2021, in the last municipal elections in Milan, he was nominated as leader again with FdI and then elected councilor. A short experience, however: in May he announced his resignation from his post at Palazzo Marino for health reasons.
