These are some of the artistic dichotomies at the center of Venus against, a dance party organized by Venus Club scheduled for tonight at Paradiso nightclub of Pozzuoli. The Neapolitan singer-songwriter will sing her songs accompanied on stage by nine drag queens, for a performance in which there will be sets and costumes that pay homage to Greek mythology and further singularities such as the alternation of songs from the classic Neapolitan repertoire and electro-pop style songs.
Ambrosia, Adelaide, Bellatrix, Chen, Ciro, Consuelo, Drammna, La Cinotti and Sypario are the drag queens who will dance with Carola Moccia – so La Nia at the registry office – in front of the audience in the Paradiso room, located on the lower floor of the Puteolano club, emulating like a mermaid mute its song, synchronizing their mouths without emitting a voice in the so-called lip sync, which means synchronized lips : Lip sync – says the drag queen Sypario – immerse yourself in the soul of a song, grasp its essence, perceiving the feelings to absorb and release through a silent cry the suffering, the pain, the loves, the story of a drag queen.
