The contract awarded by Eni to Saipem (which will enter into force from next August) is worth about 280 million dollars extends the use of the drilling vessel Santorini by two years, thus giving continuity to the activity in progress. The news follows that of last April 18 regarding the conclusion of theinstallation of 114 offshore wind turbine foundations as part of the development of the Seagreen wind farm, located approximately 27 kilometers off the Angus coast in the North Sea. Once completed it will be Scotland’s largest offshore wind farm and will have the capacity to power over 1.6 million homes.
