Treasury list wins at Enel, Scaroni president

ROME. The blitz of the hedge fund Covalis Capital for Enel fails. The list presented by the Treasury won the majority of votes in the meeting that renewed the board this afternoon, obtaining 49.10% of the votes: its 6 directors out of 9 including the managing director who will be Flavio Cattaneo . Second came the management committee team, under the aegis of Assogestioni, which received 43.49% of the votes. In the game of quotients, the 6.94% collected from the capital represented at the meeting is not enough for Covalis.

The rejection by the meeting does not even allow Covalis to send his candidate for president, Marco Mazzucchelli, to the vote. In the end, the vote only concerned Paolo Scaroni, so in the end there was a plebiscitary vote: 97.24% of those present voted in favor of him.
