Tour de France, the fourth stage Dax-Nogaro: the route and where to see it on TV

DAX – Like that of Bayonne, the fourth stage of the Tour will also be a clash between the sprinters. The 181 km from Dax in Nogaro they do not present altitude difficulties of any kind and there is only a fourth category Gpm, the Côte de Dému, to enliven a totally flat route. The arrival will be placed inside the Paul Armagnac motor racing circuit.

The group will start from Dax, in the Landes. The first emotion, so to speak, will arrive at the flying finish line located, after 93.6 km, at the chapel of Notre-Dame des Cyclistesdedicated to the Virgin patron saint of cyclists inaugurated in 1959 and become, like Ghisallo, a symbolic place for runners from all over the world, with relics of the great champions of the past.
The race will then enter the Gers department. The only ascent of the day will be the certainly not irresistible Côte de Dému (2km at 3.5%). From here to the finish there will be no other difficulties, with the sprinters’ formations lined up in front. With 3km to go to the finish line, the riders will enter the Paul Armagnac motor racing circuit in Nogaro. Volatona, therefore, on a very wide road. Shortly before, the group will skirt the Domaine de Misselle, the estate where he lived the last years of his short life Luis Ocana.
