With a decree approved under pressure from the prosecution, the court ruled that priority be given to trials involving “listed companies”. The protest of criminal lawyers: “Public opinion cannot dictate the agenda”

A parallel track to prioritize the Prisma process, which involves Juventus, over all the others for alleged financial crimes, so as to allow the preliminary hearing against the defendants to take place as soon as possible (including the now former top management of the Juventus club, such as the president Andrea Agnelli and the deputy Pavel Nedved). A decree approved on 2 December by the deputy president of the court of TurinModestino Villani, and viewed by Foglio, leaves no room for doubt: it establishes that for the preliminary hearings priority is given to a few categories of processes, including – as requested by the prosecutors – those “against companies subject to extraordinary administration or listed on the electronic stock market”.
