Third pole, Letta’s “like” to Bonino: “He’s like that”

He who? The question is legitimate and is raised by those who, upon encountering Emma Bonino’s post, are unaware of the recent past between the exponent of Pià Europa and the secretary of Action. “Should I say I’m surprised? Absolutely not. That’s how he is.” The reference is to August 2022, when Bonino and Carlo Calenda sat at the table of the center-left coalition together with Enrico Letta. A river press conference, complete with handshakes and kisses on the cheek to seal an agreement in which the quotas due in the list among the candidates of each force were also defined. Then, however, the entry into the wide field of Nicola Fratoianni and Angelo Bonelli produced a reflection in the leader of Azione who in the end opposed his no to the wide field. Mindful of that story are the hundreds of Bonino followers who are unleashing themselves on the web. “The vice of memory”, writes Marco Mayer posting a meme in which we see a Calenda leaning towards Bonino and the radical leader replying: “Don’t even think about it”.
