The German plant will be fully operational by the end of February, and three more will be built within the year. In Piombino, however, everything is late. The Golar Tundra ship that should have been in Tuscany is now in Singapore

The Brunsbüttel regasification terminal at the mouth of the Elbe has received the first shipment of liquefied natural gas (LNG). The project managed by the German company Rwe started after the agreement with the federal government in May 2022 and work began in October. The vessel arrived in Germany in mid-January and has now welcomed the first shipment of LNG from the UAE. Connection works and some tests are still missing, but the plant should be fully operational by the end of February.
