Check the hypothesis of installments of the second Irpef advance for self-employed workers. The Finance Committee of the Chamber approved various amendments in the closing session of 29 June. Among the innovations, as announced by Alberto Gusmeroli, president of the Chamber’s Productive Activities Commission and co-rapporteur of the Fiscal Delegation, is a measure to introduce payment by installments also for the second advance of income tax due in November. Payments normally due by self-employed and entrepreneurs in a single solution.

The new forecast for advances should provide for the November installment to be repaid until June. Gusmeroli says: Among the amendments passed in the Commission, also the battle between me and the League for the installment of the November advance, for the first time in 50 years taxes will no longer be paid in advance but at the end of the year and income earned.

As recalled by the Revenue Agency, taxpayers who present their tax returns must pay taxes within certain terms, which vary according to the type of taxpayer (natural person, partnership, joint-stock company or equivalent entity). Payments are made in two stages: the balance relating to the year covered by the return and the down payment for the following year, which must be paid in one or two instalments, depending on the amount.
