They are some of the data of the research “Children: an expensive wealth” commissioned by Plasmon and conducted by Community Research & Analysis under the direction of Daniele Marini (University of Padua) who also underlines that despite the scarcely reassuring economic and social situation, more than one Italian out of two (57.4%) has at least one child and a third of them would like to have more children ( 34.3%). Among those who do not have children (42.6%) however, 40.4% would like to have one.

«To help the country and reverse the falling birth rate trend, it is essential to join forces and ensure that companies and institutions work together – said Delialis -. Precisely for this reason, we decided to launch the Adamo project today, to be able to put around the same table those who have the opportunity to do something important for the country”. The Adamo project aims to focus on three areas: one to support parents, families in terms of organization, economic aspects, kindergartens, parental leave, another dedicated to initiatives to reconcile private life with work and a third dedicated to training, with advice also from nutrition experts, and psychologists. «Plasmon put in place some actions in support of parenthood such as the second care giver parental policy: 8 weeks of 100% paid leave also for the second care giver, 4-day work week for new mothers, flexible work organization 60% of smart working, but we are aware that much more needs to be done» added Delialis.
Like Plasmon, «we have been committed for some time to wanting to do something concrete to grow Italy’s future together, and today we want to take a step forward towards parenting that is valued in the company and supported both organizationally and economically, with the objective of being able to guarantee everyone, if they wish, the possibility of becoming parents”.
