More than half of Italian workers are concerned about economic uncertainty

Between inflation and recession alarm more than half of Italian workers are concerned about the impact of economic uncertainty on their work. So much to consider the permanent job a safe haven at least in this phase of global market slowdown (here the latest Istat data on Italy). This was revealed by the Randstad Workmonitor, the survey carried out by Randstad in 34 countries, which collects the testimonies of a thousand employees aged between 18 and 67 in Italy (35 thousand globally). From the data it can be seen that workers are looking for job security and financial stability with 66% who would not accept a new job if it did not offer a job placement. 60% would then refuse a job if it did not offer a higher salary, 58% if it negatively affected the work-life balance, 48% if they did not feel a sense of belonging.
