In the Labor Market Report Cnel of 2022 there are at least two good news. The first concerns a fact that defeats the usual rhetoric on the number of national collective agreements. This point has been reported to CNEL for at least four years. But in 2022 we have, also due to the full application of the single alphanumeric code of the Ccnl, the actually cleaner data: the ccnl signed by the large employers’ organizations with Cgil, Cisl, Uil are 208 compared to the approximately 1,000 deposited with the Cnel. There are 347 collective bargaining agreements signed by trade unions that are not members of the Cnel. The second piece of good news concerns the so-called coverage of collective agreements measured with reference to the Uniemens in relation to the mandatory insertion of the single alphanumeric code: the collective bargaining agreements signed by CGIL, CISL and UIL cover 97.1 per cent of workers.
