The morbid campaign against Fabrizio Palermo smells like a waste-to-energy plant

For weeks, complaints have been published in the Roman edition of Repubblica against the chairman of the Acea board of directors, Michela Castelli, who was forced to resign. However, the real intentions seem to be of a political nature

The president of the Acea Board of Directors of the capital, Michelle Castelliwas forced to resign following a an insistent campaign of denunciations developed for several weeks now by the Roman editorial staff of Repubblica, who boasts about it. Repubblica’s target is the CEO Fabrizio Palermo, accused by some security officers on the pages of the newspaper of “male racism”. An initial internal investigation carried out by the internal ethics committee had defined the accusations as unfounded, which led Repubblica to define its members as “Gualtieri boys”, and to insinuate that “they are talking about poisoned meatballs in view of the tender for the waste-to-energy plant”. In fact, the waste-to-energy plant in Rome, which has already caused the crisis in Mario Draghi’s government and made the alliance between the Democratic Party and the 5 stars in the Lazio regions impossible (despite being together in the outgoing council), remains a very sensitive issue, but this it doesn’t explain Repubblica’s fury against the CEO.
