«Vincenzo De Luca has been working for years to change the electoral law and have a third term. Since there is this nice activity on the left of stabbing each other, we are evaluating the possibility of being us on the center-right – if we all agree – to ask for the change to introduce a third term”. Halfway between the proposal and the provocation, the Northern League Severino Nappi enters the debate, so far entirely within the Democratic Party, on the third term.
As in Lombardy and Veneto
On the other hand, the League already has two precedents: Lombardy (Formigoni was even four times governor) and Veneto (Luca Zaia, as De Luca often says, is in his third term and “no one has ever said anything”). So, while the 5 Stars are announcing a battle and Elly Schlein’s national Democratic Party is profoundly opposed, the regional councilor and city coordinator of the League arrives, Nappi, who continues to the microphones of Barba&Capelli on Radio Club 91: «We want to give De Luca to find out from the voters that in recent years he has done a bad service to Campania. Let’s go to the rescue of poor De Luca so that he is rejected from the polls ».
