The amendments to vote on June 21st

Stop (at least for now) of the Incremental flat tax for employees, as envisaged in the draft law for tax reform. The Meloni government fails to introduce the flagship measure of the coalition program and in its place comes a subsidized substitute tax on productivity bonuses, on overtime exceeding a certain threshold and on thirteenths. The novelty contained in an amendment by the government al bill for tax reform, presented in the Finance Committee in the Chamber, which is examining the measure. The vote on this amendment and on the others presented in the afternoon by the government and the rapporteurs is scheduled for June 21st (the deadline for sub-amendments is set at 12 noon). So, nothing to do about the Incremental flat tax for employees, which however – the government is keen to underline, so much so that it is also written in the amendment – is not canceled but remains under evaluation, also for prospective purposes. Amendments also for the 3,000 euro ceiling for fringe benefits and electronic cigarettes and tax instalments. Let’s see them one by one.
