The problem of superbonus is that the sudden halt in activity could also have an effect on growth. If the country had managed to escape a recession and next year’s growth forecasts are +0.6 percent (IMF), one wonders what would happen to this estimate if construction were to freeze. Yes, because it is true that the superbonus has not been canceled but it is also true that the sudden elimination of the transfer of credits on all bonuses has caused construction sites to stall since families and operators no longer trust them. What the effect will be on growth depends on how much building bonuses really count in GDP calculations and how many companies (many new companies born in recent months) and professionals will be able to quickly convert to other building projects, for example those of the Pnrr.
