Summer 2023, the job offers for the holidays: from entertainers to bartenders and lifeguards, here’s what they are

Assolavoro: 160,000 contracts for computer scientists, workers, sellers

By July 2023, employment agencies will offer a total of 160,000 employment contracts. 25.9% of recruitments in the North-West, 24.3% in the North-East, 19.8% in the Center and 30% in the South and on the Islands. These are mostly temporary work contracts, i.e. with the protections and salary typical of dependent work and – for fixed-term contracts – with double opportunities for re-employment at the end of the employment relationship. The list of the main branches of the Employment Agencies, accredited in the appropriate Register of the Ministry of Labour, is available on the Assolavoro website (https://assolavoro.eu/trova-la-filiale/). But what are the profiles sought? Software and systems engineers, IT analysts, database administrators, designers, infrastructure experts, project managers and management control experts are among the most sought-after figures among highly qualified professions. And then production technicians, logistics managers, digital marketing specialists, expert accountants, receptionists and cooks. In the manufacturing sector they are in demand metalworkers, millers, carpenters, electrical and mechanical maintenance technicians, sales promoters, waiters and lifeguards. These are some of the 30 most sought-after professional figures in the world of work in the months of June and July 2023, divided into 3 different categories: i.e. the ten highly qualified professions, the 10 medium-skilled ones and the ten more operational figures ( see attached infographic ed.). This was revealed by Assolavoro Datalab, the Observatory of the national association of Employment Agencies, on data within the sector and on qualified third-party sources (Excelsior, Linkedin, Trovit, Indeed). In the June-July two-month period, the professional groups to which the 30 profiles most sought after by companies belong will create around 910,000 job offers, out of a total of over 1,80,000 total job opportunities identified by the Unioncamere Excelsior report.
