«What I would like to ask – continues Stellato – is a stop to the pressure of the tax authorities on citizens and businesses in difficulty in view of November 30, the day of the expiry of the TER scrapping which will provide a large revenue in the state coffers so as to be able to ensure the year-end budget for the collection agency, which to date has not yet reached 9.4 billion euros. It’s time for the Government to resolve this complex issue: we need to ensure a balance for defaulting citizens and in difficulty by freezing tax bills for 2022. It is also necessary to untie the snares and snares that slow down Italy, starting with art. 28 of the Constitution and the Severino law to intervene on the phenomenon of fear of signing. It is welcome that the Government takes a moment’s break and dialogue with professionals and insiders in the sector to better understand this phenomenon and try to make a law whose measures did not always include corrections. In this way it will be possible to work both in favor of citizens and to empty Italy’s tax warehouses», concludes the president of Cesfi.
