The bottleneck in semiconductor availability widens and Stellantis’ deliveries rise, and consequently revenues. So much so that the group confirms the guidance for 2022 with a double-digit margin. The EU30 market share of 19.2%, down by 90 basis points on an annual basis. Paradoxically, more deliveries than in the US (538 thousand), but less earnings. Third market is South America: 3.9 billion for 213 thousand registrations (+ 15%) of Fiat Pulse, Jeep Commander and Citron C3. China was bad where the joint venture with Gac was terminated in July: just 48,000 deliveries, the same as in 2021, for 1.1 billion against 949 million in 2021.

The new cars of the Trident

As for the Maserati brand, the new Grecale built in Cassino and launched in June encourages sales, which increased by 14%, together with the Mc20 assembled in Modena. Together they compensate for declines in the Levant and Ghibli in particular in China, India and Asia-Pacific.
