In the end, the agreement for the renewal of the Stellantis contract (CCSL, specific work contract), with the simultaneous signing also for CNH Industrial, Iveco Group and Ferrari, arrived in the morning and provides for a mixed solution to respond to the problem of loss of power purchase: overall, in the two-year period, the minimum payroll will be increased by 11.3 percentage points for a total of over 207 euros per month, with a lump sum from 400 euros which will be accompanied by 200 euros of flexible benefits.

In particular, the agreement provides that employees in Italy will be able to count on a 6.5% increase in payroll starting from March – with an average increase of 119 euros in addition to the 2% already paid last year – which from January 2024 will be accompanied by a further +4.5%, equal to 87.8 euros. The new contract will have a duration of four years for the regulatory part and two years for the economic one.

The 400 euro bonus will be paid in two tranches of equal value, one in April and the other in next July, while workers will have 200 euros net of Flexible Benefits available during the month, which can be spent on the Cnhi, Iveco, Stellantis welfare platform and in good fuel for Ferrari. The salary generated by the minimums, one-off payments and flexible benefits for the two-year period is estimated at around 4,300 euros on average.

With this contract, unlike other contracts, we recover inflation, including that generated by imported energy, and we do it in 12 months».

As explained by Rocco Palombella, secretary of Uilm and Gianluca Ficco, contact person for the automotive sector, the so-called regulatory part of the CCSL envisages «other positive news for workers, such as a more balanced discipline of production recoveries, the analysis of near-accidents and the experimentation of training breaks, the introduction of a minimum notice for returning from layoffs of 12 hours or 24 hours before a public holiday, the introduction of vertical part-time as a work-life balance tool for shift workers» .
