The amendment to the Work decree in the Chamber on 13 June

The countdown for unlimited smart working has begun for those with children under 14 and for fragile workers. Indeed, on 30 June, the right for these categories to take advantage of smart working as an exception to individual agreements expires. For this reason, the M5S intervened with an amendment to the Labor Decree passed by the government on May 1st and now in the Senate for conversion: the request for an extension – for both the public and private sectors – until the end of the year. Another six months of smart working would cost no less than 16-18 million euros (the last extension cost 20 million). The amendment was presented by the group leader in the Labor Committee, Orfeo Mazzella and, as one of the “reported”, the House will vote on it on 13 June.
