Responding to a request for an opinion from the hall list, the regional commission had specified that the Meazza should not be protected because “it is currently an architectural building in which the persistence of the original stadium of 1925-’26 and of the extension of 1937-’39 are completely residual with respect to the subsequent adaptation interventions carried out in the second half of the twentieth century and therefore not subject to the provisions “for the protection of heritage” because they do not date back to over 70 years “.
