School competitions, from managers to teachers: six selections are on the way, here’s which ones

School competitions coming up in the summer (and after)

For the school world, six competitions will arrive in the coming months to fill empty professorships and increase staff. The news does not only concern teachers but also those who want to become school leaders. The first tenders should come out in September. There will be separate competition procedures for common and support posts, to be carried out by 31 December 2024 for the so-called transitional phase, while the competitions should start in January 2025. The goal is 70,000 hires by 2026 with the first tenders expected to involve around 35,000 jobs.
