An atypical start, confirming a season that is far from normal in all respects: the purely sporting one, which sees Samp last place in the standings, but above all the corporate one, which does not bode well for the future of the Corte Lambruschini club.

Blucerchiati fans and Stankovic’s team, however, just before the kick-off of Sampdoria-Torino (live HERE), united in a sort of unison protest against the company and Massimo Ferrero, the majority shareholder considered among the main guilty of the current, difficult financial situation of Doria (together with the former president Edoardo Garrone). The South steps have in fact displayed a large banner with the inscription Hands off Sampdoria, words then sung together with the team gathered right at the foot of the South. Then the chants against Massimo Ferrero also started, these not sung by the players. And at the match, uncorked by the first center in Serie A of the Turin canterano Alessandro Buongiorno.

However, the corporate situation relating to Sampdoria is even more worrying than the sporting one: iOn 30 May, all players’ salaries will be paid and technical staff (for which the club and team had reached an agreement a month earlier), then – in June – it will be established whether or not Samp will be able to register for the championship, whether it is in Serie A or, much more likely, in Serie B.
