Yet Matteo Salvini is ready to relaunch the challenge of autonomy immediately. “It will be a reality by 2023,” says the Northern League leader speaking at the presentation of the list for the regions at Palazzo delle Stelline in Milan. And the clutches? «We have a wonderful team in the Council of Ministers – he adds – we have friends who sometimes confront each other starting from different assumptions but then arrive at a common synthesis. This is why I am sure that, after 30 years of battles, thanks to the serious and compact center-right in government and the important presence of the League, Autonomy will be a reality by 2023″.

It is the same line of Zaia, the governor of Veneto who speaks to Corriere della Sera: «This government has the opportunity to
write the story. – To finally complete a reform capable of making a country beautiful and with infinite resources, as modern as the world now requires”. The topic is sensitive. Yesterday the stop came from Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani: “Italy must not be divided” and above all the new reform “must not penalize the south”. And today Gianfranco Fini, in Half an hour more, explained: “Autonomy must be done” but “est modus in rebus” and “hurry can be a bad adviser”. Without a compensation fund – he observes – “we would put national unity at risk. It should be done but in a way because haste is a bad adviser and if the reform gets hurt there is this risk ».
