While waiting for the publication in the Official Gazette of the Labor decree law, approved by the Council of Ministers on May 1, to calculate exactly how much the payroll will increase with the new wedge cut, on Tuesday 2 May the Deputy Minister of the Economy, Maurizio Leo, illustrated the guidelines of the draft enabling law for tax reform in the joint Budget committees of the House and Senate, announcing that among the hypotheses under study there is that in 2024, in addition to the reduction of the Irpef rates from 4 to 3 , a tax cut on thirteenths could come.
