Rome has been without a prefect for 40 days.  There is a clash between Mantovano and Piantedosi over the nomination

Between Viminale and Palazzo Chigi there are names which, however, do not arrive at a definitive decision. From Lega to Palomba, to still other figures. From the Ministry of the Interior they let it be known: “No problem, Rome is governed by the very valid vicar Raffaella Moscarella”

Since last March 9, the capital has not had a prefect. And today’s Council of Ministers also marked a hole in the water: the appointment has not arrived. Since Bruno Frattasi moved from Palazzo Valentini to take care of the cybersecurity agency, he has not been replaced. As we know, the indication belongs to the Ministry of the Interior, and therefore to Matteo Piantedosi. However, for forty days there have been names dancing between the Interior Ministry and Palazzo Chigi without reaching checkers.
