Rent to the EU on Pnrr and the budget: “An agreement by the end of the year”

The minister then underlined that the Commission’s proposal on the review of the multiannual budget is “a good starting point”. The Minister for EU Affairs, the Pnrr, the South and Cohesion Raffaele Fitto during the General Affairs Council then recalled Italy’s priorities on Ukraine, migration and flexibility in the use of European funds. Fitto underlined the opportunity to reach an agreement by the end of the Spanish semester and that the agreement “is ambitious, in line with the recent conclusions of the European Council”. It is important, he added, “to conclude the revision of the rules of economic governance by the end of the year”.
