The shock absorber

The hope, perhaps a little utopian, is to bring out the so-called “black jobs” and thus lighten the disbursement of the State relating to the social safety nets of those on layoffs. The bill on which the government is working, and which will accompany the work decree of May 1st, among other things also deals with those who are on layoffs but are carrying out a second job. The bill refers in particular to employment contracts of less than six months, which are thus associated from the point of view of legislation with those of longer duration, which currently do not totally lose the compensation in the event of a second job. The provision the government is working on – which also contains another amnesty, this time relating to unpaid social security contributions – has the objective of encouraging the re-employment of those receiving the subsidy. So let’s see what will change.
