The Shareholders’ Meeting was held today which formalized the designation of Roberto Sergio as the new member of the Rai Board of Directors, indicating him for the position of managing director.
Following this indication, the Board of Directors of Rai, which met subsequently, proceeded to appoint Roberto Sergio as the new managing director, with immediate effect. Having completed the formalities – reads a note – during the meeting, the new Chief Executive Officer announced his intention to appoint Paola Marchesini as Director of the Chief Executive Officer Staff and his intention to entrust Giampaolo Rossi with the role of Corporate General Manager, a role previously held ad interim by the Chief Executive Officer. The Rai Board of Directors thanks the outgoing Chief Executive Officer Carlo Fuortes for his role.
