CEO Carlo Fuortes remains CEO of Rai. The Board of Directors approved the Rai 2023 budget thanks to the lack of participation in the vote by the center-right government. The members of the Forza Italia (Simona Agnes) and Lega (Igor De Biasio) board of directors did not in fact participate in the vote. Alessandro di Majo (M5s) voted against, Riccardo Laganà (Rai share) abstained. In practice, only 3 votes out of seven in favor of the budget, two of which, that of the CEO and the president of Rai, Marinella Soldi, would represent continuity with Mario Draghi (both were nominated by the former prime minister). The third is the opposition vote. The de facto government decides with this move to postpone the Rai dossier.
