The arrest

Cozzolino, last Friday, was arrested by the Gico financiers following a warrant issued by the Brussels court which charges him with the crimes of participation in a criminal organization, corruption and money laundering. The MEP was in a Neapolitan clinic for some clinical tests. After a night spent in the Poggioreale prison, he was granted the benefit of house arrest in his house in the Vomero district. Cozzolino has never enjoyed the two hours of daily leave granted by the judge, but this morning he went to the new Palace of Justice to await the opinion of the magistrates accompanied by his lawyers.
