Political polls, the Berlusconi effect continues: only Forza Italia grows and surpasses the League, all other parties down

The disappearance of Silvio Berlusconi had a tangible impact on the voting intentions revealed by the polls. As shown by the latest survey by Supermedia Agi/Youtrend, with Come on Italy which gains almost two points, rising to 8.8% and overtaking the League which instead stands at 8.6 (-0.3).

So 10 days after the death of the blue leader, the party continues to grow. While practically all the others are losing ground: those of the centre-right (-0.7% overall), with FdI to 28.8 (-0.3).

But also the M5S it drops thus reaching 15.5% (-0.4), and then again Action at 3.5% and Italy alive to 2.7% (-0.3% for both). The decline in the Democratic Party is a little more contained: the party of Elly Schlein reaches 20.4% (-0.2).

FI’s “boom” has been detected in particular by polls taken in the days immediately following Berlusconi’s death, while more recent ones show much smaller variations, which would seem to suggest that this rebound may be short-lived.
