Knots and delays

Almost one meeting a day now. After the launch in Parliament of the new governance decided by the executive to manage the Pnrr, shifting the center of gravity of responsibilities from the MEF to Palazzo Chigi, Minister Raffaele Fitto gathered around a table the Minister of the Interior Matteo Piantedosi, that of Infrastructure Matteo Salvini, that of Education and merit, Giuseppe Valditara, together with the Minister of Economy, Giancarlo Giorgetti. The choice of ministers who are confronted with Fitto, who has the mandate to implement the recovery and resilience plan financed by Brussels with over 200 billion, indicates some of the critical issues that are currently being negotiated with the European Commission. Problems and delays that appear to be resolved and that do not seem to question the disbursement of the third installment of 19 billion euros requested by Italy. Yesterday, in fact, with Minister Salvini’s signing of the guidelines for port concessions, published on the MIT website, one of the problems was resolved. Some knots remain for the achievement of the objectives of the Plan as at 30 June 2023, in particular that on nursery schools, while the exit from the Pnrr of the projects on the states of Florence and Venice now seems inevitable. For their realization, other sources of financing are considered.
