Piazza Affari positive, Mps deflates after the Corriere.it tear

Positive start to the session for the stock market, in line with the other European stock exchanges. The Ftse Mib index marks +0.45% at 27,233 points (here the data in real time) . Piazza Affari takes advantage of yesterday’s rise in Wall Street following the speech by Fed chairman Powell, who appeared more accommodating than expected with regard to the future growth of interest rates. The European stock exchanges, as expected, open positively. Paris scores +0.69% with the Cac 40 at 7,181 points. Frankfurt rises by 0.85% with the Dax at 15,450 points. London records +0.69% with the FTSE 100 at 7,919 points.

On the list, Monte Paschi loses (-1.7%) which this morning released the accounts. Despite a higher-than-expected fourth-quarter profit, the bank’s stock slipped into negative territory. At the start of the session, however, it had risen by 4.2% to 2.48. Among the banks Bpm down by 0.6% after the accounts, while Bper rises by 1%. Among the other blue chip, high capitalization companies, Tim scores +1.3% after new rumors about an upcoming offer for the network by CDP and Macquarie.
