Irpef, new rates: more generous paychecks?

More generous paychecks? It can only be seen from Irpef reform draft which should arrive in March for examination by the Council of Ministers on which Deputy Minister Maurizio Leo is called to work. After the adjustments to the Irpef of the 2022 Budget law and the bridging interventions of the 2023 Budget law, in fact, the construction site of the tax reform that ran aground in the last legislature should restart.

There are several hypotheses in circulation, but one thing is certain: the Irpef cut should be accompanied by a review of tax deductions, otherwise the benefit could only concern income over 34,000 euros. Among the proposals circulating, in fact, the review of the rates and brackets of the tax for the low-medium incomes in which the majority of employees are located is envisaged, only that it is necessary to take into account the mechanism for calculating the Irpef which could determine unpleasant surprises.
