The lunge comes from a major of Stefano Bonaccini’s troops: “They will see us coming,” he says.

And it is impossible not to see the irony of a paraphrase in this declaration of war. “Even this time they didn’t see us coming,” Schlein said as soon as she was elected secretary, defeating Bonaccini, her president in the Region. Then there are also those, mostly outside the Democratic Party, who took advantage of the disaster of the flood to criticize it. The indictment targeted his role as vice president of the region. She defended herself by saying that she did not have the delegation for the Environment. And yesterday she returned to Emilia-Romagna.
