“We are forced to be hopeful. I will vote, if you want to know; the slightly more structured candidate is Stefano Bonaccini». This was said by Vincenzo De Luca, regional president of Campania, interviewed by Fabio Fazio on “Che tempo che fa”, announcing his support for the Emilia-Romagna president. “Only one aesthetic recommendation for Bonaccini: a trim to his beard, and to take off his pocket square and aviator glasses,” added De Luca.
«With Zaia, who governs in general peace»
At one point Fazio asked De Luca what his position was in relation to the third term, a much debated topic precisely in Campania. «On this – the governor argued – I am on the line Zaia, who is a candidate for the third term, for two years he has been exercising his third mandate in the general peace, no one has had anything to ridire”. For De Luca it is “idiotic” to raise the issue of the limit on mandates.
