As expected, the information given to the Chamber by the Minister of Justice Carlo Nordio on the Delmastro-Donzelli affair served no purpose, except to confirm the minister’s tendency to offer justifications in “bureaucratese” to acquit two characters very close to Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Indeed, in his speech Nordio did nothing but repeat what he had already stated in recent weeks: “No interceptions were disclosed” in the case involving Undersecretary of Justice Delmastro and Deputy Donzelli.
