Having accepted the Rossoneri’s appeal, Blue Skye will not receive the documents requested on the transfer of the club

Last March 29 the Tar of Lazio upheld the appeal of Blue Skye against the refusal of Figc to deliver the papers relating to the financial institution within 30 days transfer of the club to RedBird, which took place on 31 August 2022 for 99.93% of the shares. However the Council of State – according to official documents consulted by Calcio e Finanza – has denied the company of Salvatore Cerchione and Gianluca D’Avanzo access to these documents.

The Council of State accepted this appeal underlining that there is no interest in accessing documents for Blue Skye. The verification of the possession of the requisites of honourability by the transferee of the shares has already been concluded positively and was carried out for the purposes of admission to the Serie A championship by the body responsible for this, the Co.APS Commission of the FIGC, there being no doubt as to the regular registration of AC Milan Spa in this championship.

Even if the absence of the requisites of honorability and financial soundness of the transferee of AC Milan had been determined, this would only result in the sanction of penalizing a few points in the club’s standings, without any specific implication on the counterparty’s position (Blue Skye, ed. ), who holds the position of indirect minority shareholder of the company that sold almost all of AC Milan’s share capital, reads the sentence.
