Brazilian footballer killed, ex-girlfriend arrested – Corriere.it

A macabre story comes from Brazil: the body of a 19-year-old soccer player, Hugo Vinicius Skulky, was found in a river, cut into pieces, dismembered and thrown into a stream bordering the Paraguay. The body was discovered by the Brazilian police who immediately opened a murder case. The agents of the Mato Grosso do Sul department in the last few hours they arrested the player’s ex-girlfriend, disappeared from the radar last June 25th after having attended a party and then found in the river seven days later, Sunday July 2nd. From his story, still to be verified, the 19-year-old player would have shown up at his house in Pindoty Por, a border town with Paraguay, and he would have done so almost invading the girl’s home. Then a man, who was with her at the time, allegedly fired three shots at the footballer. With the help of a second man, the killer tore the victim’s body into pieces and then threw it into the Iguatemi River, which is located near the Brazilian municipality of Sete Quedas. The police are already on the trail of the two suspects.
