The annual fee for each authorized vehicle will be 10 euros. The Municipality of Milan reserves the possibility, based on the needs that may arise in the future, to order an increase of up to 20% of the maximum overall fleet to respond to any increase in the need for mobility through sharing services. The novelty is that the service could also extend outside the city.

Finally, there is the obligation to integrate the traffic regulations of Area B – Blind spot sensors. The resolution was approved which modifies the traffic regulations of area B by introducing the prohibition of access and circulation of vehicles intended for the transport of people with more than eight seats and vehicles intended for the transport of goods starting from 3.5 tons (categories M2, M3, N2 and N3) not equipped with advanced systems capable of detecting the presence of pedestrians and cyclists located in the vicinity of the front of the vehicle or on the side of the kerb and emitting a warning signal, and without a safety sticker signaling the presence of the blind spot, in order to avoid a collision.

Starting from 1 October 2023, a ban on circulating in Area B from 7.30 to 19.30, on weekdays, from Monday to Friday, will be introduced for M3 vehicles (vehicles intended for the transport of people, having more than eight seats and maximum mass greater than 5 tons) and N3 (vehicles intended for the transport of goods, with a maximum mass greater than 12 tons), with the exception of those equipped with a blind spot sensor and a special sticker that warns of danger. Vehicles whose owners hold a purchase contract for a blind spot detection system will be able to circulate until the device is installed and in any case no later than 31 December 2024. For M2 vehicles (vehicles intended for the transport of , with more than eight seats in addition to the driver’s seat and a maximum mass not exceeding 5 tonnes) and N2 (vehicles intended for the carriage of goods, with a maximum mass exceeding 3.5 tonnes but not exceeding 12 tonnes) i bans will take effect in October 2024, with the same possibility of derogation no later than 31 December 2025. For all, it will also be necessary to have the sticker signaling the presence of the blind spot.
