Rome. He wants a new director of the Treasury, he wants to control the Treasury and give history a “due process”. Mario Draghi is part of that story. Giorgia Meloni is “emptying” the Mef. The law and consent allow it. He asked Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti to dismiss Alessandro Rivera, the general manager, now. He already has the name of the welcome replacement and has suggested two possible ways out for the man who was head of the banking system from 2008 to 2018. That man is Rivera. Giorgetti is not satisfying her. There is a deeper reason that explains the hostility of Meloni, of her men, towards this director who participated in the last G20 and G7. He aims at Draghi.
