Giorgia Meloni is in Paris. A day packed with meetings in which the prime minister first took part in an institutional visit to sponsor Rome’s candidacy for Expo 2030. She then met the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, in a bilateral meeting at the Elysée, also organized to cool some tensions arose between Italy and France on the immigration dossier.
After the meeting in the presidential palace, Meloni and Macron make a point with reporters.
