Meloni arrives at the EU Council: “I expect progress on migrants. Possible meeting with Macron”

“We can confirm the fact that the issue of immigration is considered central today, something unthinkable until a few months ago, and that it is being followed step by step by the Council. And this is excellent news”. The Prime Minister said, Giorgia Meloni, upon his arrival at the European Council. “I expect steps forward”, he added before the meeting with EU leaders in which “the migrant dossier will be updated with a report from the president of the Commission which will tell about concrete steps based on the conclusions of last February”, he explained.
