But he says goodbye to the committee.

Three days ago in the auditorium of the Ara Pacis in Rome, De Giovanni presented, with Lucia Annunziata, the book by Paola De Micheli, candidate for the dem secretariat, of which, among other things, he wrote the preface: I am an elector disgusted leftist, trivially male, and absolutely average in culture and extraction. – He said on stage – This places me in the position of the interlocutor. We cannot speak of the psychoanalysis of a party, but of a tragic condition of an entire part of Parliament in a moment of crisis. We whine at each other and whining, unlike crying, lacks dignity and revenge, of reactivity. His analysis of the defeat leaves no room for discounts: for the first time the rich voted clearly on the left and the poor on the right. For twenty years, 30 percent of the country has moved to the right. From Renzi to the Lega, to the 5Stelle and now to Meloni, the same electorate. The party of the apparatus, of the establishment, was once the party of the workers. And on the future of the Democratic Party: Seeing it from the outside, I have the terrible impression that this figure, who I hesitate to define as a party, because a party comes from a party I don’t see, this figure looks to me like a boat that, in its eagerness to win a regatta, has embarked oarsmen not caring if they could row, if they rowed the same way, if they knew the course and so all these souls are fighting now. The first thing to do would be to kick out those who don’t share the route, otherwise how do you apply to be party secretary?. Obviously a question that he didn’t get an answer to.
