Majorino’s victory in Milan opens a reflection on the “Ztl trend” of the Democratic Party

The data that most surprised the regional elections in Lombardy was the supremacy of Pierfrancesco Majorino on the square of Milan, in clear contradiction with the scappola remedied in the region. For the rest I would have quoted a few more points for Letizia Moratti but the victory of the centre-right candidate, whatever her name was, was obvious. Majorino’s surprise in Milan is also due to the political positioning of the Pd candidate: decidedly leftist compared to figures such as Beppe Sala or Pierfrancesco Maran, who in the city had already had their fill of re-elections or preferences in the recent past. A small signal could be traced in the participation in the debates on the Lombard elections organized in the city by the Feltrinelli Foundation (one of the very few public appointments of a painless electoral campaign): according to Attilio Fontana there were 25 people counted, according to Majorino about 200.
