On December 16, the CGIL and UIL called a general strike against the Draghi government because it was the author of a “regressive” and “socially unjust” maneuver, which did not address the problem of “inequalities”. As could be guessed then, and as we wrote at the time, these were factually false allegations. Almost a year later, confirmation has arrived from Istat, which has just published a report on the “distribution of income in Italy” assessing the impact of the measures taken by the Draghi government.
