BOLOGNA – A neo-fascist-inspired tattoo on the arm of the new League secretary in Bologna, Christian Di Martino. On his forearm he has a wolf’s tooth, one of the runic symbols used by the German SS (now banned in Germany), surmounted by a fist holding a hammer, symbol of Terza Position, a subversive movement active in Italy in the 1970s – ‘ 80.

The case is raised by the Corriere di Bologna to which the exponent of the Carroccio explains: “I was never part of that group, I got that tattoo as a kid because I always liked Nordic mythology. When I got that tattoo, a 16 years old, I didn’t even know what Third Position was “, he specifies. The hammer punch? “I’ve always been a fan of comics, I like Thor”.

“Are there secretaries around with the Celtic cross and I have to be crucified for a tattoo from ’86? Romano, Di Martino has been in Emilia-Romagna since 2010 and was provincial councilor of the PDL in Ferrara. In this capacity, in 2011 he participated in an event promoted by Casapound alongside Gabriele Adinolfi, founding member of Terza Position.

Lepore: “Too many fake dumb fascists”
